Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to manage tax
filings and compliance, oversee tax systems, and assess tax risks
for acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare sales/use, GST, and VAT filings, and manage the Avalara
environment
Assist in the preparation of US federal and state income tax
provisions and returns
Conduct tax research and communicate with tax authorities to
resolve matters
Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred)
and/or in-house corporate team
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
CPA or equivalent license required
Understanding of ASC 740 and income tax accounting concepts
Experience with NetSuite, Avalara, and tax compliance software is a
plus
