Divaris Property Management Corp. an international, integrated real estate services, brokerage, and property management company is seeking a dynamic individual to join the Team as Associate Director, Property Management Accounting. This position will work closely with the Director of Property Management Accounting, as well as other senior management, both internally and externally, to oversee financial functions and ensure the integrity of financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Director and CFO on financial strategies, reporting, training and development and compliance. Assist with leading the property accounting team to ensure both internal and external polices are adhered to as well as achieving departmental goals. Oversee the timely and accurate preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Work closely with external auditors during annual audits. Identify, evaluate, document and implement, continuous improvements for accounting processes to enhance efficiency. Updating the design and scope of controls as the business evolves to maintain the integrity of financial reporting. Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of new clients and properties process. Lead or assist with special accounting projects as directed by the Director and/or CFO. Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting property accounting.
