competitive hourly starting rates for every market we're in. We're
growing our team here in Richmond, VA:
Compensation: $27.00/hour
Schedule: Varies
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary
to meet the minimum requirements of the position.
Other duties may be assigned
- SRO's will be assigned to train at 3 locations extending across
the Greater Richmond area.
- Shifts of 8 - 12 hours--- -
- Must be able to accept last-minute assignments due to call-offs
or No Call No Shows--- -
- Handle calls for service; intake of media and emergency
calls
- Complete daily reporting; incident Report input and
approval
- Notification elevation, upon approval; mass
notification/Everbridge
- Conduct travel security reviews
- Red Tag/Hot Works reporting
- Ensure timely and effective response to incidents, alarms,
notifications, calls, and other activities related to the Security
Operations Center and its role as a central alarm monitoring
station
- Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from
employees, outside vendors, law enforcement, and the security field
force via telephone, automated alarm monitoring and radio
systems
- Process and evaluate information received from all available
sources, and respond with the appropriate communication and
dispatch procedures
- Coordinate with Security Operations Center staff to provide
necessary documentation in support of uniformed guard force
activity (e.g., Officer Dispatch, Incident Reporting, etc.)BASIC

Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required:
- Must pass a skills-based assessment called "Criticall", which
is administered after successful completion of the interview
process.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws
and regulations and may be required prior to employmentType and
Length of Specific Experience Required:
- Work experience must include of the following:
- Demonstrated analytic and critical thinking skills and ability
to prepare reports

systems (e.g., hardware, software, and networks)

and/or console monitors

- Associate degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Communications,
or related field
- Verifiable and successful security experience
- Professional training and/or education in one or more of the
following:
- Customer service
- Dispatch operations
- Security and/or emergency services
- Documented experience and competency in the following Security
Software Systems:
- Access Control/ID systems (e.g., ProWatch)
- Alarm Receiving Automation software (e.g., Onyx Works)
- Incident Management and computer assisted dispatch
software
- CCTV/Video Management systems (e.g., MaxPro)
- Mass Notification systems (specifically, Everbridge)
- Business Intelligence and Travel Tracking (e.g., iJet and
NC4)
- Experience in a modern 911 Call Center, Central Station Alarm
Monitoring, or Dispatch Operation, Technical Security Control Room,
or similar environmentPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT:
- Environment: Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme
temperatures is expected
- Major activity: Working on PC and using telephone/radio while
sitting
- Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include
some standing, bending, and limited stretching and reaching
- Must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent
permissible by law
