Technologist looking for an exciting opportunity to make a
difference in patient care? We are seeking a skilled and
compassionate MRI Technologist to join our dynamic team at
OrthoVirginia. In this role, you'll play a vital part in delivering
high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring the safety and
comfort of our patients.This position focuses on non-contrast MRI
procedures, meaning you'll be working with state-of-the-art
equipment to produce accurate, reliable images without the use of
contrast agents. You'll have the chance to apply your expertise in
MRI protocols and anatomy while working in a fast-paced,

Functions & Accountabilities:Prepare patients for MRI procedures,
ensuring comfort, safety, and proper positioning.Operate MRI
equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images in a timely
manner, adhering to non-contrast MRI protocols.Process and digitize
MRI images accurately, ensuring the correct patient data is linked
to each scan.Review images for technical accuracy, ensuring proper
anatomical orientation and diagnostic quality.Maintain and prepare
MRI examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and ready for each
procedure.Conduct regular equipment checks to ensure proper
functioning and compliance with safety standards and
regulations.Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients,
staff, and self from unnecessary exposure.Collaborate with
physicians, radiologists, and medical staff to ensure accurate and
reliable imaging results.Demonstrate flexibility by assisting with
other duties as needed, while always prioritizing patient
care.Provide professional, courteous, and empathetic care to
patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-informed
throughout the MRI process.QualificationsAt least 2 years of MRI
Technologist experience is preferredCurrent Virginia Radiologic
Technologist License requiredARRT Certification requiredThis
